Six Mobile Health Units of the Ukrainian Red Cross Provide Primary Healthcare in the Region

In the Sumy region, six mobile health units operated by the Ukrainian Red Cross provide primary healthcare and deliver medicines to remote settlements of the region. They work in the Krolevets, Trostianets, Hlukhiv, Nedryhailivka, Putyvl and Krasnopillia communities.

During the past week, the mobile health units of the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross visited 37 settlements and provided medical consultations to over 700 individuals. These consultations included initial examinations of patients, check-ups for blood pressure, blood glucose, and oxygenation levels, as well as on-site primary healthcare services.

The Mobile Health Units programme in the Sumy region is made possible with the support of the Swedish Red Cross.
