The Polohiv District Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Holds a Street Event to Mark the Holiday
At the event, residents had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the rules for handling mines and explosive devices, use the services of a clothing bank, have a snack, and participate in a lottery.
The staff and students of the Polohiv Vocational Lyceum also helped organise the event. The lyceum’s instructors, along with the students, conducted a master class on carving, specifically the art of creating various flowers, figures, and ornaments from vegetables and fruits using artistic carving techniques. Handmade pastries were provided for everyone to enjoy.
