Emergency Response Team Supports Fire Fighters in the Lviv Region

The emergency response team of the Lviv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross swiftly collaborated to bolster the resilience and aid the personnel of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine engaged in firefighting operations. The firefighters were supplied with drinking water and snacks to sustain them during their efforts. 

It is crucial to understand that any careless handling of fire, such as discarding cigarette butts in forests, parks, or out of car windows, can potentially cause large-scale fires. In fact, human negligence accounts for approximately 90% of ecosystem fires. Some individuals irresponsibly burn dead wood, shrubs, and garbage without considering the consequences.
