In Chernihiv, Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteers Planted Tree Saplings on a Playground in a Modular Town

Volunteers of the Chernihiv city and regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross planted over 150 saplings in Chernihiv’s modular town. These saplings will be used for the greening of the playground situated within the modular town.

The modular town for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Chernihiv was constructed with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Comprising seven multi-apartment, two-storey buildings, the town offers 112 apartments, which are fully equipped with household appliances and furniture for comfortable living. Presently, over 100 families live in the town. The green playground will be a great place for mothers and their children to relax.
