Recently, Vladyslav Vladov, a volunteer of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region, participated in the Protection Forum in Oslo, organised by the International Network on Explosive Ordnance (INEW) in cooperation with the Norwegian Red Cross.

He also visited the base of the Norwegian Red Cross search and rescue team in Oslo, where he met with Anders Thorheim, Head of Emergency Preparedness and Response, and Henning Haugom, Emergency Preparedness Advisor. During the meeting, the Norwegian colleagues shared their experience in responding to emergencies and described the special equipment and tools they use in their work. Meanwhile, Vladyslav spoke about the activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response teams in Ukraine, focusing on their work during the full-scale invasion, and shared his own experiences of responding to emergencies in Odesa.
