In Kryvyi Rih, Volunteers Inform Students in Educational Institutions About Mine Risks

The volunteers of the Mine Risk Unit at the Kryvyi Rih Ukrainian Red Cross branch conduct information sessions for students in educational institutions, where they teach safety rules and the algorithm of actions in case of detecting explosive objects. For younger students, a special session is organised in a game format to facilitate their understanding of what mines are and how important it is to be cautious outdoors.

During the sessions, children learn the algorithm of safe behaviour: stop, do not panic, do not touch and immediately call 101 or 102 if you find a suspicious object. This knowledge can be crucial in critical moments and can potentially save lives, not only of the children themselves but also of those around them.
