Continued Support for Residents of the Five-Kilometer Border Zone in the Sumy Region

Volunteers from the emergency response team of the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross promptly delivered humanitarian aid to 140 residents of the Seredyno-Buda community. The delivery took place in the village of Sorokino and the town of Seredyno-Buda. Additionally, on the way back, a 76-year-old woman with a disability was transported from a hospital in Seredyno-Buda to a medical facility in Sumy.

During the first quarter of 2024, humanitarian aid was distributed to 34 settlements within the 5-km zone, including Druzhbivka, Znob-Novgorod, Esman, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, and Myropilske communities. In total, 4,250 people received assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross.
