Providing Assistance at the Scene of the Attack on Chernihiv, April 17, 2024
This morning, Chernihiv was struck by a missile attack, resulting in the deaths of 17 people and injuries to 61 others, including 3 children.
Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team provided first aid and initial psychological support to those affected. Additionally, they established a tent at the scene of the emergency to offer assistance to those in need. Volunteers also distributed temporary repair materials for the damaged homes.
The process of clearing rubble is currently underway.
