On the night of April 8, due to a Russian missile strike on the Poltava region, residential buildings and a two-storey dormitory were damaged. According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, 16 people were injured, including 4 children.
The staff and volunteers of the Poltava regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with local authorities and other NGOs, provided assistance at the site of the strike. Today, those impacted by the night shelling received food, hygiene kits, warm blankets, and drinking water.
Our volunteers and staff will continue to offer assistance on-site as long as it is needed.
