The Extent and Significance of the Prykhystok Program

Iryna from Irpin witnessed her family’s house on fire in a drone video on one of the news channels. Following this, she realized that she needed to seek a new home because she literally had nowhere else to go. Thanks to the state program Prykhystok, which the Ukrainian Red Cross implemented jointly with the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and supported throughout 2022-2023, Iryna and her family were able to find housing where they currently reside free of charge.

As of December 2023, total compensation payments to households under the Prykhystok program of the Ukrainian Red Cross amounted to UAH 2.7 billion. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine for their effective cooperation!
