Transporting Individuals with Limited Mobility by the Emergency Response Teams
Transporting individuals with limited mobility is one of the primary areas of focus for the emergency response teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Every day, our volunteer crews move through towns and cities across the country. They bring individuals back home after receiving treatment or rehabilitation in medical facilities, and they transport those with mobility limitations to hospitals for necessary medical procedures. Our volunteers frequently assist in carrying patients on stretchers, whether it’s down from upper floors or up steep stairs. They possess all the necessary knowledge, skills, equipment, and teamwork to do it effectively.
These photos depict recent transportation efforts conducted by our volunteers from the Kherson and Mykolaiv Emergency Response Teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who help under any circumstances.
We stand by those in need!
