The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Kharkiv regional organization assisted the wounded and rescuers 16.01.2023

16.01.2023, as a result of yet another russian missile attack on Kharkiv, a roadway and a three-story residential building in the city center were struck. Around 20 people were wounded.

A hospital opposite the building that was hit by the missile was also damaged. Two floors of the hospital caught fire. There were no patients at the time of the strike, and no injuries among the staff have been reported.

The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Kharkiv regional organization promptly arrived at the scene to assist the wounded and rescuers. They provided first aid and psychological assistance and aided the rescue attempts using a dedicated URCS search dog.
