Responding to the consequences of the nighttime rocket attack in Odesa
The russian rocket attack on Odesa resulted in damage to civilian residential infrastructure and caused fires. Local authorities reported damage to the main pipelines.
The Emergency Response Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Odesa Oblast promptly arrived at the scene of the attack. The volunteers inspected a group of houses in the city’s central district, where they provided first aid, psychological assistance, and humanitarian aid to the victims.
Together with the rescuers, they also evacuated a woman with limited mobility from a damaged building.
A total of 11 volunteers from 4 crews took part in the work at the site.
