Drone strike on Kyiv
The emergency response team of arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they performed door-to-door checks of the residents of apartments affected by the falling UAV debris.
Last night, russia carried out its third air strike on the capital in a week.
Debris from one of the drones hit an apartment building in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, causing a fire on several upper floors. The apartments suffered partial wall destruction and shattered windows.
In coordination with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they performed door-to-door checks of the residents of apartments affected by the falling UAV debris.
As a result of falling debris in the Dasnytskyi district of Kyiv, a private two-story house caught fire. No casualties have been reported. Two volunteers of the emergency response team stood by at the scene to provide emergency assistance in case any victims were discovered. Now, the Ukrainian Red Cross Darnytsia district organization has taken charge of monitoring the situation to provide timely assistance if the need arises.
In total, 15 volunteers and 7 vehicles were involved in the response.
