The competitive selection and approval of candidates to the Audit, Risk Management and Ethics Committee has been completed

The Ukrainian Red Cross has completed the competitive selection and approval of candidates for the Audit, Risk Management and Ethics Committee. The following candidates have been elected:

• Pavlo Verkhniatskyi;
• Svyatoslav Biloblovskyi;
• Yulia Nebesenko;
• Dmytro Sergienko;
• Oleksiy Tyakin.

We welcome the new members of the Committee who have joined the Ukrainian Red Cross team. We are convinced that the knowledge and experience of the selected candidates will contribute to the development of audit, risk management and ethics practices in the organization.

We are grateful to all participants for their active participation. Stay tuned for future opportunities and projects aimed at achieving our common goals.

The Audit, Risk Management and Ethics Committee was established to support the Ukrainian Red Cross’s leadership in supervising strategic management, financial reporting, risk management, internal control, and internal and external audit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and its regional (local) organizations’ activities.

The Committee advises the Ukrainian Red Cross leadership on the following issues:

• preparation and presentation of financial and other public reports;
• risk identification, assessment and management;
• internal control;
• fraud prevention and counteraction;
• organizing and conducting internal and external audits and other professional services;
• compliance of the Ukrainian Red Cross employees with the Code of Conduct and legislative and local regulations.
