Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross meet with the Prime Minister of Norway

Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Maksym Dotsenko, met today with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. The parties discussed Ukrainian humanitarian needs and the contribution of the Ukrainian Red Cross to overcoming the humanitarian crisis caused by the full-scale invasion.

During a joint press conference with Maksym Dotsenko, Mr. Jonas Har Støre stated that Norway would allocate NOK 350 million to help Ukrainians and support the Red Cross Movement activities in Ukraine. The money will be used to provide medical services, psychosocial support, humanitarian aid, and the construction of shelters.
