Forty-eight members of the team from the Ternopil Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross completed three training sessions on Psychological First Aid

Specialists from mobile health units – unique teams of professionals who provide assistance to residents of remote communities with limited or no access to medical services – attended the training over two days.

On the third day, the training was attended by the staff and volunteers who not only support others but also need to ensure the well-being of their entire team.

The skills covered in the psychological first aid training, such as caring for individuals, active listening, and providing emotional and practical support, will enable the team to offer effective assistance to those in need.

The training was conducted at the Psychosocial Support Centre under the EU4Health Programme in partnership with the Danish Red Cross.
