«Breath of Winter» is a documentary by our colleagues Italian Red Cross about the staff and volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross whose lives have been changed by the war. This is a journey through memories, emotions, views, thoughts a year later. A year that has changed each of us. A year that changed the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
–Two months have passed, and I can still smell the burning after the shelling that destroyed a house near our headquarters. The headquarters where we work, sleep and which has now become our home, – said one of the film’s protagonists, Yevhen, commander of the Emergency Response Team of the Vyshhorod District Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
