TODAY IN KYIV, THE VOLUNTEERS OF THE EMERGEMCY RESPONSE TEAM OF THE UKRAINIAN RED CROSS MET AN EVACUATION TRAIN THAT ARRIVED FROM DONECHCHINA
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) transported 17 people on an evacuation train. These are people who lived in the east of the country, but due to a dangerous situation, they were forced to leave their homes. Volunteers of the Emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society met the evacuation train at the station, helped those people who need external support to get off the train, and also transported people with reduced mobility to shelters.
In addition to the volunteers of the Emergency response team, employees of the Kyiv City Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine also worked at the station.
We remind you that the Emergency response teamt of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society closely cooperates with Doctors Without Borders. Volunteers are evacuating people from populated areas of Donetsk region to evacuation trains that are already taking people to safer places.
