In Chernivtsi, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers are on duty at the train station

On the platform they meet people who were forced to leave their homes in search of safety due to active hostilities. About 3,000 people arrived from the east of the country in a week.

Volunteers help to transport less mobile people, provide first aid to the needy, and first aid sometimes. They also provide meal kits, water, children’s bags with toys, coloring books, pencils and other things for children.
