Vaccine saves lives – Ukrainian Red Cross actively informs the public about vaccination

Every day, Ukrainian Red Cross staff and volunteers communicate with the public and distribute printed materials about the COVID-19 vaccination all over Ukraine.

We talk about how the vaccine works, what are the types of vaccines available in the country, and answer the most common questions about vaccination. We also share information, covering all groups and categories of the population, about the stages of vaccination and how to sign up for it. This information is provided at events, in various public places, institutions, establishments, and with the involvement of local partners.

The Ukrainian Red Cross provides communication support for the national vaccination campaign so that people are informed and are able to make decisions about vaccination against COVID-19. Already 140,000 copies of posters and leaflets have been sent to 24 oblasts in support of this campaign.

The vaccine activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society are implemented with the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
