Ternopil hosts experience-sharing seminar for community-based psychosocial support trainers

Over three days, psychosocial support trainers who completed their training in 2025 and 2026 took part in a seminar focused on sharing experience, professional development and strengthening their training skills.

The seminar provided a space for professional dialogue, the exchange of practical experience and reflection on participants’ work as trainers.

During the event, participants worked on developing active listening and co-facilitation skills, discussed approaches to planning and delivering training sessions, and shared their professional achievements and challenges. They also explored professional well-being and self-care.

An important part of the seminar was the opportunity to reflect on their own experience, exchange practical approaches, learn about different training methods and identify areas for further professional development.

Events like this help strengthen the professional community of trainers, develop their skills and maintain the quality of training in mental health and psychosocial support.

By investing in trainers’ development, we strengthen communities’ capacity to provide quality psychosocial support.
