Kharkiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross responds to another attack in the city

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region worked alongside other emergency services at the site of another attack on the city. Volunteers searched the surrounding area and damaged buildings to identify people affected by the attack. They also took part in search-and-rescue operations, providing first aid and psychological support to people on-site.

More than 20 private houses have been reported damaged. The Ukrainian Red Cross will also provide affected residents with the necessary humanitarian assistance based on identified needs.

According to updated information from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi district killed a woman and injured nine people, including a seven-year-old boy. A residential building was destroyed, and the strike caused a fire covering an area of 600 square metres.
