UPD: Four Ukrainian Red Cross representatives injured in Russian shelling of Sloviansk

On 13 October, four representatives of the Lyman city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross were injured in Russian shelling of Sloviansk. Due to the security situation, the branch had relocated to Sloviansk, where it continued its operations.

They sustained shrapnel wounds and burns in the attack. All received the necessary medical care.

The attack caused significant damage to the building housing the Lyman city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. The resulting fire also damaged the organisation’s property.

We strongly condemn attacks on civilian infrastructure and humanitarian personnel.

Despite the ongoing security risks, our teams continue to work and provide essential assistance to people affected by the war.

Information is up to date as of 14 October 2026.
