Kyiv: Ukrainian Red Cross team responds following latest attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team worked in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district alongside other emergency services. Volunteers provided first aid to one person injured in the attack and handed them over to an emergency medical team for further hospitalisation.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, eight people were injured as a result of the Russian attack in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, while another 12 people were rescued. A fire broke out on the first three floors of a five-storey residential building. Emergency responders evacuated 12 people from the upper floors.
