The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of attacks in central Kyiv

The emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked alongside first responders at two locations in Kyiv.

At the site of the strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district, volunteers surveyed the area and provided first aid to two injured people. They also assisted with resuscitation efforts for one of them.

In the Holosiivskyi district, volunteers provided first aid and psychological first aid to two injured people. They also helped emergency responders evacuate people from a damaged building.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, three people were injured when a medical centre in the Holosiivskyi district was hit. The roof of a nearby four-storey residential building also caught fire at the site of the strike. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, one person was killed and six others were injured in a fire at a building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
