The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of an overnight attack in Kharkiv

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team worked alongside other emergency services at the site of an overnight attack in Kharkiv.
Volunteers surveyed the surrounding areas and damaged buildings to identify affected people and provide necessary assistance. They provided first aid and psychological first aid to people experiencing acute stress reactions.

A Ukrainian Red Cross assistance point was also operating at the site. People whose homes were damaged could receive humanitarian assistance, including OSB boards and tarpaulins, hygiene and bedding kits, drinking water, and other essential items. The tent also provided water, tea and coffee, snacks, and psychological support.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the overnight attack on Kharkiv and its outskirts caused three fires. Residential buildings, an educational institution, and a vehicle were also damaged. Four people were injured. The fires were quickly extinguished by firefighters.
