Making Community Support More Accessible: Connecting People with the Services They Need

A Social Services Fair was held in Vinnytsia, bringing together representatives of social services, civil society organisations, volunteer initiatives, and other service providers. The Ukrainian Red Cross Community Center team took part in the event together with colleagues from the Vinnytsia regional and city branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

During the fair, the team introduced local residents to the Community Center, the services available there, and the different ways to access support. The event also provided an opportunity to meet other organisations and build professional contacts.

Such partnerships help improve coordination of support within the community, facilitate the exchange of information, and connect people with the services they need. Through cooperation with local organisations and service providers, the Community Center serves as a place where community needs can be connected with available support and opportunities.
