Ukraine’s Rescuer’s Day

Today, on Ukraine’s Rescuer’s Day, we honour those who work every day in the most challenging situations: fighting fires, rescuing people, clearing rubble and responding to emergencies. Their work involves dangerous call-outs, hours of exhausting work, constant readiness to act, and decisions that sometimes have to be made within seconds.

We thank the first responders of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for their resilience, courage and professionalism. For every call-out, every life saved, and their readiness to be there, time and again, wherever people need help.
