Odesa: The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of a nighttime attack

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region worked alongside other emergency services at sites affected by the attack on Odesa overnight.

Volunteers surveyed the affected areas to identify people in need of assistance, provided first aid to four people, and delivered psychological first aid to people experiencing acute stress reactions.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the overnight Russian attack damaged a residential building, a business centre, a private enterprise, a country house, and vehicles in Odesa. A petrol station was completely destroyed. Fires broke out at several strike sites and were promptly extinguished by emergency responders. According to preliminary information, eight people were injured, including one child.
