Grant support of up to €3,000 to start, restore or develop a business: Applications open for veterans and their families in Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions

The Ukrainian Red Cross is opening applications for the Supporting the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine programme. As part of the Veteran Business School, veterans and their family members from the Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions can receive up to €3,000 to start, restore, or develop a business of their own.

Programme participants will have the opportunity to complete comprehensive training in entrepreneurship, financial planning, marketing, and sales, as well as take part in practical workshops and training sessions. In addition, each participant will work with mentors to develop a business plan and financial plan for their business idea or existing business.

After completing the training, participants will present their business plans to a selection committee. The best projects will receive grant funding and continued support during the implementation of their business ideas.

Applications are open to veterans who have been discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their family members. Family members of military personnel who are missing in action or who are or have been in captivity can also apply, including parents, spouses, and children. Applicants must have a business idea or already run a business.
