Mobile Health Units in Chernihiv Region: Access to Healthcare Services

For many people living in remote and war-affected communities in the Chernihiv region, accessing basic healthcare remains a serious challenge. With no regular public transport, travelling independently to district or regional hospitals can be extremely difficult.

Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units regularly visit remote villages across the Chernihiv region, providing essential primary healthcare. Specialists from the mobile health units conduct basic health assessments, measure blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels, and provide patients with free over-the-counter medicines.

Find out how our mobile health units operate on the ground and what this support means to local residents in the video.
