The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to provide physical rehabilitation and social adaptation services in the Chernihiv region

The Ukrainian Red Cross Physical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation teams in the Chernihiv region continue to support community residents in need of rehabilitation services.

In July, programme specialists carried out 84 home visits to provide physical rehabilitation services. A total of 30 people received rehabilitation support.

To improve beneficiaries’ mobility and independence, the teams provided 25 assistive devices, including wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches, handrails, and other essential rehabilitation equipment.

Supporting those who care for their loved ones every day remains an important part of the programme. During the month, 18 caregivers received consultations on safe care practices, including the correct techniques for moving and positioning people who require daily assistance.

We continue to stand alongside those who need support on their journey towards recovery and social adaptation.
