Lviv: Ukrainian Red Cross responds at the site of the attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross regional branch has set up a humanitarian assistance point for people affected by the attack. Those affected can receive drinking water, tea and coffee, as well as first aid and psychological first aid. Essential hygiene kits are also being distributed. In addition, the organisation has provided a relief tent to host a mobile Administrative Services Centre, where people can quickly register damage to their property.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as of this morning, several strikes were recorded across the city. Two multi-storey residential buildings and several non-residential buildings were damaged. Eight people were injured and seven were rescued following the Russian attack.
The Ukrainian Red Cross team continues to work at the site, supporting those affected and assisting with the response to today’s attack.
