The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of the latest attack on Kyiv
Overnight, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team, in coordination with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, responded to the aftermath of another attack on the capital.
In one of Kyiv’s districts, volunteers carried out door-to-door visits in a damaged residential building, assisting residents with evacuation. They also provided psychological first aid to people experiencing acute stress reactions.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, one person was killed and 16 others were injured in the ballistic missile attack. Response efforts are ongoing. According to the President of Ukraine, Kyiv came under one of the largest Russian ballistic missile attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion, with more than 40 missiles of various types launched at the capital overnight.
