The Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the scenes of attacks in Zaporizhzhia
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region worked alongside other emergency services at the scenes of the attacks, helping respond to their aftermath.
Volunteers conducted checks of the surrounding area and carried out door-to-door visits in damaged residential buildings to identify people in need of assistance. They provided first aid to those injured, psychological first aid to people affected by the attacks, and supported emergency services at the scenes.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, two people have been killed and 42 others injured, including eight children, as a result of the Russian air strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
