The Ukrainian Red Cross has handed over 30 generators, each with a capacity of 32 kW, to the Kharkiv City Territorial Community

For a city that continues to come under constant attack and faces ongoing damage to its energy infrastructure, these generators will help ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure and the continued delivery of essential services to local residents.

The delivery of the equipment was made possible through cooperation between the Ukrainian Red Cross and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), which continues to support Ukrainian communities and strengthen their capacity to respond to the impacts of the war.

During the handover ceremony, representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross received awards from the Kharkiv City Council in recognition of their significant contribution to maintaining the city’s essential services throughout the full-scale war.

We are grateful to our international partners for their continued and unwavering support for Ukraine. Together, we are helping communities remain resilient, even in the most challenging circumstances.
