More than 170 Hours of Practical Training, Modern Agricultural Machinery, and a New Profession: Reboot Programme Participants Complete Training

Graduates of the Ukrainian Red Cross Reboot programme in the Poltava region are now qualified to operate agricultural machinery, autopilot systems, and agricultural drones. After two months of training, participants earned the nationally recognised qualification of Category A2 Tractor Operator.

Among the ten graduates are four veterans who chose the agricultural sector as the next step in their professional development. For them, the programme provided an opportunity to gain new knowledge and practical skills while supporting their transition to civilian life.

The training took place at the I. H. Borovenskyi Reshetylivka Professional Agricultural Lyceum, combining classroom-based learning with practical field training.

Over the course of two months, participants completed more than 300 hours of training, with more than half of that time dedicated to hands-on practice and operating agricultural machinery. At the Intelligent Agricultural Systems Laboratory, they also learned to work with GPS navigation systems, autopilot technologies, and agricultural drones.

Following successful completion of the programme and final assessments, graduates received nationally recognised certificates and operator licences, enabling them to work with high-powered agricultural machinery.

Two other Reboot training courses have also recently delivered positive results. Participants in the entrepreneurship and grant application course have already begun submitting their own business projects for funding. Meanwhile, one graduate of the cosmetology course has secured employment at the training provider, which plans to create additional positions for other graduates in September.
