The Ukrainian Red Cross is responding to the aftermath of an attack in Odesa

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region is working alongside other emergency services at the site of the latest attack in central Odesa.

Volunteers are on standby to provide first aid if needed and are supplying drinking water to emergency responders involved in the response operation.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a woman was killed and another person injured following a Russian missile strike on a residential area of Odesa. The attack caused a fire in a two-storey residential building, while the blast wave and debris damaged three private homes.

Emergency response operations remain ongoing.
