Mobile health unit begins operations in Blyzniuky community

The Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has launched a new mobile health unit in Blyzniuky, Lozova district, as part of the “Assistance in National Crisis Response, Humanitarian Operations and Resilience Building” project, implemented with financial support from the United States Department of State. The unit has already conducted its first outreach visit to respond promptly to the healthcare needs of the local population.

The launch of this unit is an important step for the entire district. The mobile health unit aims to ensure access to quality primary healthcare for residents, including those living in the most remote communities.

The unit’s work focuses on supporting people who, due to the war or limited transport connections, face barriers to accessing medical care.

The mobile health unit’s work in the Blyzniuky community is an important part of humanitarian response efforts and contributes to strengthening the resilience of the region amid ongoing challenges.

We are there where support is needed most.
