Response efforts continue for a second day following the Russian attack on the town of Vyshneve in Kyiv region
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kyiv region continues to work at the site of the emergency. Volunteers are conducting door-to-door visits, providing first aid, and delivering psychological first aid to people affected by the attack.
Together with first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the volunteers helped rescue a cat that had sustained burns in a fire caused by the attack. The animal is now safe with its owner and is receiving the necessary treatment at a veterinary clinic.
Response operations remain ongoing in coordination with all relevant emergency services.
