A representative of the Japanese Red Cross, together with a team from the Ukrainian Red Cross, conducted a monitoring visit to the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Centre in Briukhovychi, near Lviv, where reconstruction works are ongoing with support from international partners.

During the visit, participants reviewed the progress of the works and discussed the next steps in implementing the project aimed at strengthening rehabilitation infrastructure in Ukraine.

The initiative aims to create a modern, inclusive, and barrier-free environment where patients can receive high-quality rehabilitation services essential for recovery and returning to active life. In total, the Japanese Red Cross has allocated USD 2.5 million to fund this project.
