Shared Vision and Practical Solutions: The 11th Coordination Meeting of the Reboot Programme
Integrating services, strengthening participant support, and enhancing collaboration with the public and private sectors were the key topics of the 11th Coordination Meeting of the Ukrainian Red Cross Reboot Programme, held recently in Odesa.
The event brought together more than 40 national and regional specialists, including branch leaders, programme coordinators, career advisers and partners. Participants shared their experiences of programme implementation, discussed team collaboration and volunteer engagement, and explored how to create a seamless support pathway that integrates mental health support, employment assistance, training and entrepreneurship development.
According to figures presented during the meeting, the total value of grant funding provided through four projects in 2025 exceeded UAH 65 million. Across the programme’s two rounds, 535 participants have received support.
In 2026, the programme will provide 310 microgrants. The funding phase is already under way, with participants from the Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions having received their first instalments.
A key focus of the meeting was the integration of the Reboot Programme into Ukrainian Red Cross Community Centers and strengthening collaboration with the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programme. Community Centers are intended to serve as accessible entry points where people can receive individual services while learning about the full range of support available, including the Reboot Programme.
The three-day meeting concluded with a practical training session for career advisers, focusing on new approaches to one-to-one career counselling and on helping participants identify and achieve their professional goals.
The 11th Coordination Meeting provided an opportunity not only to review progress to date but also to shape the future direction of the programme. The next step is to strengthen collaboration across other areas of the Ukrainian Red Cross, expand global partnerships, and make professional and economic support even more accessible.
