The Ukrainian Red Cross expresses its sincere condolences to the team of Norwegian People’s Aid Ukraine, as well as to the families, loved ones, and colleagues of the humanitarian workers killed

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of demining specialists as a result of a Russian attack in the Kherson region, and we wish a swift recovery to all those injured.

Humanitarian workers risk their lives every day to save others, assist civilians, and make Ukrainian land safer. They must never be targeted.

The Ukrainian Red Cross once again stresses the need to comply with international humanitarian law.
