Kharkiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross assists people affected by the overnight attack

Emergency response team crews of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Kharkiv region worked at all locations affected by the attack. Volunteers inspected damaged buildings and surrounding areas, provided first aid and psychological first aid, assisted with the transportation of injured people, and transferred casualties to medical personnel.

A Ukrainian Red Cross support point is currently operating, where people can receive water, hot drinks, snacks, psychological support, and humanitarian assistance, including hygiene kits, bedding sets, and other essential items.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv overnight on 2 June with 15 attack drones and two missiles. Attacks continued in different parts of the city throughout the morning. More than 20 people were reported injured.
