“Risks 360°. No Blind Spots” Training: Strengthening Approaches to Risk Management and Security

A training entitled “Risks 360°. No Blind Spots”, dedicated to compliance, risk management, data protection, security, and cybersecurity, was held in the city of Ternopil for employees of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The event brought together representatives of the Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regional branches, as well as the Central-Western Interregional Office of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

Over the course of three days, participants explored key approaches to risk management and compliance, learned about the Integrity Line, and discussed principles for preventing fraud and corruption. Particular attention was given to personal data protection, personal and organisational security, as well as the basics of cybersecurity and cyber hygiene, which are critically important in the context of today’s challenges.

The training programme included interactive sessions and practical group exercises that enabled participants to examine real-life cases, exchange experiences, and develop effective approaches to responding to potential risks.

The event was facilitated by specialists from the relevant department, who created a professional, open, and practice-oriented environment for discussing current issues and mutual learning. The training was held with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
