In Khmelnytskyi, the Ukrainian Red Cross met an evacuation train from the Donetsk region
The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Khmelnytskyi region met another evacuation train and assisted 14 people who were forced to leave their homes because of the war.
At the railway station in Khmelnytskyi, evacuees from the Donetsk region were met and safely transported to one of the communities in the region, where they were provided with safer living conditions and the necessary support.
The evacuation was organised by the East SOS charitable foundation, which facilitated evacuations from dangerous areas, accompanied people to the train, and coordinated their transportation to communities in the region.
Supporting people who have been forced to leave their homes because of the war remains one of the key areas of work of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
