In Ternopil, the Ukrainian Red Cross team responded to a fire incident
Today, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Ternopil region responded to a fire in central Ternopil.
Volunteers provided first aid to two people, while four affected individuals received psychological first aid. A total of six volunteers took part in the response operation.
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ternopil region, the operational dispatch service received a report of the fire at 11:11 a.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze while people were simultaneously evacuated from the upper floors of the building. Five people are reported to have been rescued.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
