Organisation of a children’s trip to Valencia for the Ukraine vs Sweden match

On 26 March, the national teams of Ukraine and Sweden played in Valencia. Before kick-off, 13 children of the Heroes of Ukraine walked onto the pitch with players from both teams — a tribute to Ukraine’s defenders and in memory of those who gave their lives for the country.

The trip was organised by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Central Directorate for Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Football, with financial support from the Swedish Red Cross.
