Even after his passing, he continued to save lives

Yurii Urban was a volunteer with the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Volyn region. For three years, he was part of a team often among the first to respond — saving lives during emergencies and providing comprehensive support to those in need.

Yurii passed away suddenly due to illness but remained true to his mission of helping others until the very end. Thanks to his family’s decision to consent to organ donation — a selfless, courageous, and profoundly important act — Yurii’s organs helped save four lives, including that of a one-year-old child.

This act speaks louder than words — reflecting compassion, humanity, and a deep commitment to helping others.
